The TX-8 is one of my first rockets that used SRBs, it is super awkward to control, but is the only version of the TX-6/8 rockets that is actually capable of a decent payload from what I remember.
All of the TX rockets use the same upper stage, and the TX-6/8 use the same 3rd stage.

I actually think the oldest rocket I made that uses SRBs is the Scorpio MKI, but since I don't have the craft file for it anymore I think it's actually the Son Of Scorpio rockets that are the oldest SRB rockets I have, I genuinely don't know how I got them to work, especially back then, but somehow they do
