Hello!
Its been a very long time in the making, but it’s finally done. After months of work, this beauty right here is a 1x1 (almost) exact replica of the Perseverance Rover! The scale, weight, and appearance are all almost exactly like the real rover. This was supposed to be a tribute to the rover launch, but it took way longer than I expected, so I’m many months late. But not to worry, this is a follow up to my 1x1 scale Atlas V Here There are over 15 cameras, so close to the real amount. I added all that I could find.
But anyways, you probably don’t care about any of that anyways. So, let me explain how this works:
The controls can be very complicated, or annoying depending on your memory basically. There is brakes, but they don’t work very well, so I usually just turn the wheels.
Deploy suspension: activate all stages and turn on AG 1. If you turn off AG 1 it will still stay in the down position though.
Forward: throttle up
Backward: translate forward
Turn right/left: translate up, then turn the joystick whatever way you need to turn. (This is for turning while stationary though. It wouldn’t work while moving. It can turn 360 in the same spot.)
Turn right/left while driving: use translate right or left, so basically the same as the stationary turning, just without using translate up.
The suspension should work, although the parts don’t really like to cooperate, but I tried my best to make a functioning Rocker-Bogie suspension system.
To operate arm:
Main control of arm: use slider 1 and slider 2 to control the arm, while Manual Arm control is activated. Slider 1 moved it away from the Rover body itself, and slider 2 moves it forward, up, down, and back a little. Try it out and experiment
Arm turret control: it’s the same idea for the turret. Use slider 1 and slider 2 to control different movements. Also, slider 2 turns on the ‘drill’ so it will be on if you use it.
To turn the rover head up, just simply press ‘flip up.’ It has 5 cameras, including the super cam. It turns 180 degrees in both ways, and almost completely vertically.
Control the ‘satellite’ by using Slider 1 and 2 and turning on satellite control AG.
I added the RTG, but I have to give credit to KraZIvan for posting them here. I couldn’t find any other way to realistically recreate the RTG myself, so I had to use it. Also, it should replenish itself when you aren’t using any electronics.
Anyways, thank you for reading! And hopefully you enjoy or like this craft, I spent so much time on it, and I appreciate any support. It may not be perfect, but in my opinion this is the closest replica of perseverance I’ve seen on this site (no offense to anyone I’ve seen some really good ones out there).
Well, thx and have a nice day!
(Oh, I will have a video out soon for a tutorial)

Disclaimer: I used a LOT of tinker panel. Mostly to edit part mass. I aimed to make this as close to the real thing as possible, so I had to use tinker panel to do that. Also, since I wanted to make it was realistic, it’s slow, and kind of bumpy because I didn’t use stock wheels.
Yeah @Natedoge, I found it after some searching, the only issue was I tried using it with an RSS solar system, and the detail of that craft plus the detailed solar system equaled my device crashing pretty quickly.
i have one that i posted it should be atlas 551 with perseverance, sorry about the really late response @GrandmasterPotato
@GrandmasterPotato ok
@Vedhaspace Ok I was just wondering because I am lazy and don’t want to build it.
@GrandmasterPotato you can build a shell with heatshield and parachutes and a sky crane with this rover
Then save it in sub assembly
Then load the Atlas v and set the payload from sub assembly
Or make an atlas v by yourself
Is there the an atlas V with this already on it? The one in the link has no payload, and this has no cruise stage or heat shield.
Thanks! @SUpermanta2021
AWSOME!!!!!!!!
@Natedoge yes but the controls make us explore the mars i like them!
Thanks! The controls are weird so sorry for that, but there’s just not enough control points to have so many inputs @Vedhaspace
That's very nice and cool and realistic too
!
Well a little longer than that @IMAFISH42069two
It landed 5 seconds ago
Lol thanks so much again! I appreciate it! @CELESTIAL1
I love it.
Oh, yeah I saw it. That’s so awesome @Space_XL
@Exospaceman
Look at the taking control trailer for SR2
What? @Exospaceman
@MansBestFriend bruh what even can you even talk
You’re right!! I can’t believe it lmao, It made it into the trailer @Space_XL
What?! No way @Space_XL
YOUR CRAFT WAS IN THE TRAILER DUDE!!!!!
What?! @Exospaceman
@MansBestFriend means ok ehh
