Presentation
I have been working on this model since I joined the community. The goal is to create a heavy object launch vehicle by combining a historical model with robust and fully autonomous programming.
For this reason, I chose the PROTOM M. The dimensions are the same as the original model, and the idea is to launch the Zarya module—1998, the first module of the ISS.
Project
So far, the engineering is acceptable. What I am working hard on is its programming.
Autolaunch 2
Previously, I had created a similar program, but now, with new challenges in mind, I have redesigned the code from scratch.
Autolaunch aims to be fully reconfigurable and compatible with future models. It is an advanced program with complex functions that are essential for its operation.
Currently, Autolaunch is capable of placing an object in space with two stages up to the desired Apoapsis. Through the config module, this can be adjusted.
The software can determine the trajectory according to the desired altitude. It allows configuring the altitude of the first stage. There is also a series of error validations that may occur during liftoff, along with an efficient logging system that announces the various functions in progress.
Additionally, it includes a visual system that can display information on the screen. This can be enabled or disabled by accessing the active groups. It is also possible to select the type of information displayed using the select option within Active Groups.
