Long March 9 launch vehicle

The Long March 9 launch vehicle is a new generation of heavy-duty rocket being demonstrated by the people's Republic of China, which will be used in China's deep space exploration, manned moon landing and fire landing, space infrastructure construction (such as space solar power station) and other tasks in the future. The core of Long March 9 has a maximum diameter of 10 meters, a total length of about 100 meters, a takeoff mass of more than 4000 tons, a low earth orbit (LEO) carrying capacity of 140 tons, and a moon earth transfer orbit (LTO) carrying capacity of about 50 tons. The carrying capacity is similar to that of the U.S. Saturn 5 carrier rocket.
