The New Generation!
Our most popular rocket and rocket program, the Bravo 10 V7 1.1 is without a doubt the best overall rocket we have ever made. We have put a lot of work into making this one even better, so new engines, much more efficient second stage, new payload and some tweaks to the faring.
Flight Plan
Flying!
To start things off you can start by picking a heading and maybe play with the umbilical tower (Slider 1 and AG5). After that lower Slider 1 to -100% and activate AG7 to lower the grid fins. After that, press the Stage Button once to start the engines and then again to release the rocket.
Stage Separation
#Now at this point, the first stage has separated from the second stage. The second stage will keep burning fuel until 125km and then it will jettison the fairings.
Landing!
Target Burn
This might be the first time you heard that, basically what it means is the rocket will burn fuel to make it’s orbit line straight pointing directly somewhere on Droo. To do this light up the 3 RSI-RE4 (AG3, AG4), keep burning fuel until the Retrograde Circle is at the 90º pitch point and make sure your Pitch is -25º. Then turn off the 3 engines and press the Retrograde Circle.
Re-entry burn
At 30km start the 3 RSI-RE4 again (AG3 and 4) and then keep burning until 3% fuel. This should hopeful keep you speed close to a speed that the three engines can handle at 3km for landing.
Landing Successful
At 1km or 2km restart the 3 engines and then turn off the 2 outer engines (AG3) and land with the single-engine once you have slowed down enough, but don’t forget to deploy the landing legs.
Stage Two
Last Steps
Switch back to the second stage and then change the pitch to 35º and then keep burning until you have created your orbit.

@HorizonsTechnologies, wait is the “Starting TWR” you’re talking about?

@RocketScienceCo Well I am also on mobile. iOS for that matter.

@HorizonsTechnologies. Could be a difference in the platform your playing on. I’m on mobile. But I think the V8 engines are somewhere around 2 TWR.

@HorizonsTechnologies. We used to have the TWR thing on the performance analyzer, but Jundroo removed it.

@RocketScienceCo A nice TWR is 1.5 for liftoff, but it’s hard when you use mass scaling tinker.
-

@HorizonsTechnologies, you have a point there. More thrust coming out means more fuel being utilised, we’ll probably invest in trying to make them much more conservative.
-

@RocketScienceCo Increasing TWR doesn’t mean better efficiency. There is a balance between EFFICIENCY and THRUST.
-

@RocketScienceCo Honestly I think th first stage TWR should be decreased to improved efficiency.
-

@HorizonsTechnologies, we’re also trying to increase TWR to improve efficiency.

@HorizonsTechnologies. Rocket Science Co doesn’t have a complete answer to that, but from what you’re saying we think that we’ve created a very capable rocket.

@HorizonsTechnologies. We’ve already resolved the landing legs issue on Bravo 10 V8. And yes, Bravo 10 V7 1.1 first stage can do a full trans-lunar injection. Although it wouldn’t be reusable, so makes sense to just make the second stage do the extra work (in terms of cost).

Also the first stage alone can get into orbit and do a full trans-lunar injection in a single launch.

There’s a bug where the booster landing legs are on default activated. This is probably because the landing gear AG is always set auto ON. To fix this, go to the command chip and click on blue tab by the AG.
Any suggestions or complaints with the rocket please comment, so we can improve upon or fix any problems with the next iteration.
