Here's my first crack at making a modular rover that can easily pack into any rocket/lander, so you can rack up those kilometers on other worlds! I tried to take inspiration from NASA missions and make something modular, dependable, and will run for days. I hope to improve on this in the future, maybe adding some "tools" so it can do "science" :D

The rover's command module has a short Vizzy program to extend the deployment boom without getting it stuck and exploding.

Features:
- Prepacked in a modular cargo bay, 1.75m height, 0.8m diameter
- Total module weight is just under 1 ton, rover weight is about 435 kg
- Auto-deploys using AG6 and Slider2
- Up to 7 m/s max ground speed
- 4x4 system - all four wheels turn and power
- RCS system in the nose in case you flip over and get turtled, enough propellant to flip you back about 8 times (in Luna gravity)
- 3 cameras - one mounted on raised boom (raised using Slider1 and panned using Roll), forward night vision camera under the nose for night driving, and forward full color camera above the nose
- Wide-angle driving light and high-intensity floodlights with their own action groups
- Roof mounted solar panels, and two deployable side panels to get you topped up while you're off playing a different craft
- Main battery pack under the chassis
- Chassis module is empty to keep the weight down, though you can put batteries or more mono for the turtle-thruster at the cost of more weight. You can even put a chair on it for an astrodrood, though it won't deploy from this module with a chair, and the CoM is not good with a dude on top
- Extra space in the cargo bay for more "stuff" you want to take with you, though you'd have to find a way to get it out before deploying the rover (maybe using an angled interstage to launch cargo boxes directly out onto the surface? :D)

Hope this helps you get wheels on the ground and exploring on other worlds!
