After the Second World War, Leviathan Aeronautics, in which had already made a name for itself as a famous aeronautical company split into two sectors. Leviathan Industries Aeronautics & Aerospace.
In 1954, The second branch, “Leviathan Aerospace,” launched a small rocket, designed to prove the branches worth and pioneer designs for future rockets.
The first stage was comprised of a solid rocket engine which burnt for a meagre nine seconds, but it powered the Pioneer to a great momentum. The velocity from this launch would excel its apoapsis to above the Karman Line - 100 kilometres, depending on the launch angle.
The only thing equivalent to a second stage was a parachute which was to be activated below 3000 metres for a soft water impact at 40 metres per second.
