It's been tested from a 500km Luna orbit. The first stage is supposed to be used to travel from droo to Luna, don't forget to jettison the 1st stage before landing on Luna. It's designed to automatically land on Luna (you might need to assist the vizzy with Luna landing a little) as well as Droo, all you need to do is De-orbit then relax as the vizzy takes over with auto land sequences for both Luna and droo.
The aim of the project was to build a rocket to send crew to Luna and return to droo without docking in space. Note that the landing gears is activated by the stages and solar panels is activated by AG8
