Theta is the sucssesor to our newton program. The newton program has provided much needed reserch into launch infastructure for such a rocket. The newton Beta, Alpha, and Omega launch vehicles will be retired. Theta will be a more robust and reliable launch vehicle. Removing complex hardware, such as the nozzle extension on the second stage engine.
Theta is capable of lifting 27 Tons to orbit in its current version. Updates to the second stage are already in the works.
Theta has a payload volume of roughly 8 meters. This will acommodate most payloads. Much larger than earlier Newton variants, which dont have a streamline build like Theta.
