Auto Credit Based on Freeskyaerospace's Hybrid engine for ssto 1

I’ve been working on this ssto for a while now and it can’t seem to maneuver in space, it can fly in the atmosphere but not space. It always starts to oscillate but it does so more and more until boom! It’s backwards. Can anybody tell me what’s wrong in the comments pls?

I’ve decided to scrap this in favor for a new and simpler design (coming tomorrow along with the name)

@Freeskyareospace - the "rocket" configuration will control pitch and yaw with combined autopilot slider settings(0-100) for proportional, integral, and derivative sliders combined - then the "plane" configuration has seperate pid controls for pitch and roll - it does get tricky with spaceplanes/ssto... but i think it works best with rocket configuration, with yaw control being pretty necessary for space/vacuum controls - if you highlight the pid settings, it will show how each slider affects the response from the auto pilot

@SmurfResearchX do I set it to rocket or airplane? Is there something more specific?

@Freeskyareospace yes and what smurf says is completely true to. All can take part

it could be auto pilot settings - flying in atmosphere with control surfaces usually needs a low derivative setting...and space/vacuum rocket engine controls need a higher derivative setting - sometimes its hard to tune settings that will work for both

So the pixie engine has a higher gimbal range? I was using rcs but it is probably too weak. @XionmassResearchDevt

Another, more to rear the gimbal / pixie engine will give more control, and idk if your useing rcs

I'll look at it. I'm not sure, but without looking. I use pixies for the gimbal . Turn it up and max out the pixies. That's one suggestion
