F-32 'Stinger' Documentation
Overview
The F-32 Stinger is a 5th-generation fighter aircraft developed under the "Heavy Interceptor Fighter Program" by Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin. Designed for air superiority, it combines advanced stealth features, thrust vectoring, and an optimized armament configuration. The F-32B builds on the foundation of the F-32A with refined systems for dogfighting and interception roles.
Performance
- Recommended Takeoff Weight: 30 tons
- Maximum Takeoff Weight: 38 tons
- Maximum Speed: Mach 2.19 (at 30 tons, no external payload)
- Top Speed with Max Payload: Mach 1.9
- Maximum G-Load: 12G (Optional G-Limiter available)
- Range: 1,000+ km (with aerial refueling)
- Price: $30.3 million per unit
Key Features (F-32B Armaments)
The F-32B carries:
- 3 IRIS-T Missiles (Main Bay)
- 4 AIM-132 ASRAAM Missiles (Main Bay)
- 2 AIM-9 Sidewinder Missiles (Side Bay)
Activation Groups
- Engine
- Engine Afterburner (Automatic)
- Thrust Vector Control
- Landing Gear
- Missile Bay (Main)
- Missile Bay (Side)
- Cockpit Canopy
- G-Limiter Multiplier
- Override G-Limiter
- Refueling Probe
- Navigation Lights
- Select Weaponry
- Fire Weapon
- Lock Target
- Unload Weapon
- Control Surfaces
- Camera Tracker
Important Notes for Operation
Activation Group 14: Lock Target
Locks onto nearby crafts; however, missiles can also lock automatically, making this feature optional.
Activation Group 3: Thrust Vector Control
Use at stall speeds when control surfaces are insufficient for recovery.
Pitch Trim for Stability
Adjust trim settings during flight to maintain optimal stability and reduce pilot workload.
Slider 3: Flaps
Use Slider 3 to control the flaps for better takeoff, landing, and in-flight maneuvering.
Missile Bay Usage
Open the appropriate missile bay before firing:
- AIM-9 Sidewinder: Side Bay (Activation Group 6)
- IRIS-T: Main Bay (Activation Group 5)
- AIM-132 ASRAAM: Main Bay (Activation Group 5)
Lore and Development
The F-32 began as an ambitious multi-role platform under the Heavy Interceptor Fighter Program. The F-32A prototype introduced foldable wings, later canceled due to excessive costs. Transitioning to the F-32B model, the focus shifted to interception capabilities with upgraded avionics and weaponry.
Combat Highlights:
- An F-32B intercepted a high-speed enemy aircraft using an AIM-132 ASRAAM missile, highlighting its efficiency in rapid engagements.
- Its superior agility and thrust vectoring enable it to dominate dogfights and evade enemy counterattacks.

@mrjp300 the Taileron combines Roll and Pitch... What you've experienced is Taileron's loss of Roll motion due to high AoA (could be a stall)
Don't worry tho... The second variant will limit the Taileron's roll based on AoA

The rotator on the right aft elevator is inverted for pitch :) great design though, cool plane!
