Iran announced on January 19, 2020 that two newly built satellites had passed tests and would be sent to the launch site for launch.
Iran's information technology minister mohammad javad azzari jahrumi announced the development on twitter, calling it an "important research step."
He didn't say when the launch would take place, but Iran always launch satellites during national holidays
