A small, short-term laboratory for research in orbit. With a crew of three, it is designed to allow for work to be conducted on it for up to 2 weeks at a time. It is launched aboard the Poseidon III rocket (my own creation).
The spacecraft consists of a command module capsule with a connected service module, docked to a lab module that can be separated upon re-entry. Both the command module and lab module are built with usable interiors with windows, control screens, airlock hatches and retractable control screens.
The whole of the command module exterior is covered in heat-resistant material to allow for variable re-entry attitudes. The parachute bays are also covered with a seperating shroud that protects the parachutes and access tunnel.
Activation groups:
1 - Abort A (1st stage, separates CM and LM with launch escape system)
2 - Lighting
3 - Payload and antenna bay (slider 1 to deploy antenna)
4 - Control screen retraction (to be able to move around in the interior, controlled with slider 1 as well)
5 - Abort B (2nd stage, separates CM and activates parachutes)
9 - Solar arrays
10 - RCS
*Do not delete the empty first stage, I have no idea why, but it will not allow the first stage engines to activate for some reason.
