Original concept of Nerva-Orion proyect, very expensive and harder to launch, Second orbital block of the first, this rocket launches the Main nerva propulsion module powered with water for more fuel eficiency, it has a semi-useless emergency engine.

I have to ask: what variant of the Saturn was this? I’m suspecting the Saturn 1B but I just want to be sure. And where did you find out about them using water as fuel? This was pretty good, a small sect of the post I made on ludicrous Saturn rockets.

Alright, I checked and the only place where the spacecraft you put into this exists is a science fiction project by a off topic website. NERVA and Orion were never considered and the teams even were strong opponents. Von Braun did however consider using the Saturn V first and second stages to assemble the Orion spacecraft in orbit, much like what they planned to do with Nerva. Orion was already done in by the 1963 nuclear weapons ban whereas the nerva project, using a single thermal engine and several liquid hydrogen tanks, would have been used as a tug to send large payloads to a Martian orbit. The Saturn itself also had planned to use a upper stage nuclear thermal engine which would have allowed higher payload capacity. I am still quite impressed by the Saturn IB you made, even if this is technically a fake.
