I couldn't solve the problem with kill probability and decided to release these anyways. AAM-2A is a replica of AIM-120A with modified fins and nerfed guidance capabilities (no LOFT mode). AAM-2B is a shortened version with much better maneuverability comparable to that of the AIM-9X. It is also the missile used in my AA turret.
How to use:
Just slap it on to your craft and it wil work. However you can also use the radar released with AAM-1B to display the target that's locked. Without The radar the missile will auto-lock the closest craft in front. The missiles are fired by activating the nosecone, which can be linked to stage activation, activation groups, or vizzy program.

@s5ehfr9 I don't know if you are talking about your new or old missiles, now I tried your old missiles https://www.simplerockets.com/c/7hobWq/Hud-Now-Fixed and they still work
