I DID NOT BUILD THIS PLANE, I merely brought it to life with lots of tinkering, painting, imagination and some Vizzy work.
Gang this is an upgrade from my previous version. New upgrades include “The best seat in the house” (1st class Cam #2) and some moderate tweeking on the Vizzy program. My knowlege of vizzy is still in its infancy so I stole Vizzy portions of other players crafts, disected them (best way to learn) and the applied changes I wanted that fit my imagination. Nothing fancy though. I’ve also removed the sleek belly fuel tank to give those who think they can take the plane around the world and land it a greater challange in fuel and engine management.
Engine #2 now has after burners (available at 90%) for smoother takeoffs and ascent times. I shut it down and cruise altitude to conserve fuel. Shes still a “Sub Mach” plane though.
*I’ve also added a unique part idea that I’ve seen a few designers implement. Unpowered self illuminating, blinking parts. Usually used in Nav Beacons. So I stole one and used it. I’d surely be interested in learning exactly how you take a part, like a fuel tank and make it self illuminate/blink with no power. I’m certain it has something to do with modding the game files. But if you know how this is done, PLEASE EDUCATE ME. *
And I’ve implemented a new, and brilliantly novel idea to boost the power output of plane engines by a factor of 3. I’ve taken bits and peices of other player ideas, (this works, this doesn’t, but if you tweak this, it all works even better). But it Works with limited duration and will take you from 15km to 38km in about 30 seconds and leave you with plenty of control and stability.
If you recall the movie “Star Trek Nemesis” in which the Romulan Senate was introduced to the Wickeness of Thalarone (pronounced Thae-laron) radiation that turned em all into dust. Later when Shinzon tried to implement the weapon against the Enterprize, the attempt was thwarted by Data while the Intermix was ramping up (he dead now).
Well, if you weren’t aware Thaelaron’s can be use as a propulsion, but must be “Intermixed” just prior to use. Thaelarons cannot be stored due to their rapid decay. As such must be generated in site. So over the last month I worked endlessly to develope a Thaelarone Intermix Generator and the Thaelaron drive.
THE THAELARON INTERMIX PROCESS TAKES AROUND 30 seconds depending on relative speed and altitude.
Tip for use:
1. The best place to see the Thaelaron Intermix proccess is in 1st class Cam 2 (best seat in the house). Though 1st class cam is nice too.
ITS BEST VIEWED IN DIM LIGHT OR THE BLACKNESS OF NIGHT (but works fine in daylight veiwing.
2. The Thaelaron drive is most efficiant “AND STABLE when implemented at altitudes above 8,500 meters.
Dangers:
The Thaelaron Drive works much the same as a jet engine uses an air fuel compressor, only sensetive Thaelrons don’t like each other and don’t like to be compressed too much. So we introduce them into specially modified engines with very specific particle densities to compression ratios. Thaelaron particles hate each other so much, they shoot out the rear producing mega thrust 3x that of the most powerful jet engines. Don’t worry about Thaelaron radiating turning you to dust. Don’t worry about it falling to the ground turning everyone else to dust. It has a shelf life of 30 seconds (and so do you).
However there are certain risks that require sepcific procedures to reduce these risks.
1. Engines have to be on and the plane in motion at a minimum of 250ms. Any slower and the engines melt then fall apart, plane loses power and you plow into the ground. Or it goes kaboom in flight. Either way, your passengers take a dirt nap. You get to keep their money.
2. Below 8,500 meters and compression is less stable, increasing risks of catastrophic failure. (Try lowering throttle to 90% or lower).
Ok, now that I’ve explained The Thaelaron Drive, lets revisit some previously released details of plane operations.
1. The Plane will self start while you sip your favorite beverage). AG 1 starts the process .
2. The primary mission is people pay to experience their first (and last) Halo Jump.
a) Coach pays $250,000 +tax per
b) 1st class $749,000.99 tax free
c) Flight insurance (optional) $500
These people are a bit overweight. Especially coach. Coach people don’t pay enough for extended round the world or edge of space Halo Jumps. So give em their thrill around 10k or less and lighten the load.
Jumps are staged: open the Bay doors first, gang. Jumps can only go in staged order.
1. Coach is always first. They go all at once.
2. First class, last. They pay good money, they go one row at a time. They also paid for longer trips and high altitude (edge of space) Halo Jumps. Give em their moneys worth or rip em off and dump em early.
3. Thwarp-Tech is neither Licensed or Insured. Its just an illegal company that operates from the big barn behind “Bubbas All You Can Eat Pulled Pork and Mud Wrestling Emporium”. Droos best kept secret!
