104 meter boom
20 meter lift height
42.5 Ton limit (38,500 kgs)
Controls:
Yaw Left / Right : Sway boom left or right (Friction driven, stop early and spin back the other way or use the "Brake", does not have a sway lock or actual sway brake beyond the friction and center motor.)
Roll Left / Right : "rope" contraption up or down
Pitch Up / Down : Trolley out, Trolley in
AG 1 : Engage clutches and drives (auto on)
AG 2: "Hook" docking port. Off is disengage, automatic on at loading.
It helps to "Hover" first then lower to dock to stabalize the rope. It's good advice to let the load stabalize before changing from sway to trolley to lower. Less rock and swinging, more controlled load placement. DOES NOT HAVE ANY REACTIONS. All on you.
Limit is around 38,500 because of the trolley, though it has picked up and rolled very slowly with 98,000 kgs, but above 38,500 kgs the trolley likes to fall off on one roller. It will pull itself back on without the load by pulling it in, but not always. Try not to trolley and turn with a load, this will cause the trolley to derail oddly sometimes. If the links stick, just trolley back and forth and they ususally come lose. if links come out of sync, toggle the motors doing the outrunning and adjust. Then turn back on (individual activation) Just a concept and I have a lot of data to make a solid crane to put the K10000 to shame coming, so keep it in mind this is just a working prototype. The new one is all new design top to bottom :)

Aha, 202.5 meters with 5 parts, 402 meters with 7, the crane just has to be 1/4 the height of the boom length, which why not anyways 😂 @FriendlyFin

Yes, the trolley I'd love to make realistic now, but the problem will be staying connected without a crap ton of parts 🤔@FriendlyFin

that’s kinda what makes it fun; you have to figure out a puzzle you made accidentally

200 meters isn't quite working yet 🤔 I'll have to think on this one for a minute. Collisions aren't working the way they should, and nothing is tinkered yet in a certain area it's not working. It's a thinker now for sure 🧐@FriendlyFin

I noticed that yesterday but haven't had a minute to look through. It looks interesting I'll check it out @FriendlyFin

by the way,
i made a new thing in case you didn’t get pinged -

i think the maximum size of a craft at least on earth is 1 kilometer

The new design I'm working on getting it to reach 200 meters, and if I get that going how I think I can I'm going to stretch it to as far as I can, 500 meters maybe? Going to get 200 at least. Then the counterweight I need to add to the back, not in this one so I can push it to see just how tall it can go. 500m? 1km? I'll find out 🐒@FriendlyFin

i mean, moving the parts with powerful RCS could do the trick…on cylero

Exactly what I had in mind. Alignment is a pain so trying to come up with easy drop in place kind of assembly 👌@FriendlyFin

i was thinking of making a parts pack that has docking ports to enable the ability to put them together without an actual rocket builder thingy. this might help put really big parts on top of each other, or put them on great heights on the moon or something

Lol not what I expected, but exactly what I was thinking was possible(although in my mind it was a gantry crane, but same difference). Once again, great work!

It's pretty impressive when you use parts for their "not intended purpose" 😂

Yeah I've already put a little thought into that 😏 I've got a few ideas to actually build an entire base with machines and parts @Starborn

Forgot to delete the measurement stick in the base 🙈 but you got the idea 😂
