Haha I love it. People always forget that realistic models are nothing without the vibe/atmosphere they give. This simple craft gives me the right "atmosphere" that a piece of Soviet equipment should give. Especially love the orbiter and the antenna structure. Somehow "low-fi" 2000s graphics is, in my mind, suiting for old technologies.

I couldn't agree more. I've never been one to spend hours teasing out every small detail of a craft as others enjoy doing because. frankly, how far can you go? I'd rather capture the aesthetic of the thing and nothing has that particular, "peculiar" aesthetic like mid-century soviet design. They took such a different approach to the problems of space flight than did the Americans, that to western eyes, their spacecraft may as well have come out of a 1930's science fiction magazine. Glad you enjoyed my offering and please, If you have a moment, check out my Vostok, Zenit, and Gemini crafts. I'm particularly gratified how they turned out. Cheers!
