Important notes
-This 1:1 scale replica doesn’t feature a vizzy missile guidance program
-I apologize about incorrectly modeling the aft fin rollerons, but it was tricky and i didn’t want to make this a long-term project, but it does have somewhat accurate inertial guidance axises
-Feel free to modify or use either for decoration, or potential modification to add a missile guidance program, because I sure as hell won’t
-Referring to #2, I plan to make a more sophisticated and detailed replica of the AIM-9X sometime in the future
-I couldn’t find a way to remove smoke from the motor, but its smoke is so unnoticeable in the first place it is still very reminiscent of its real life counterpart. Common misconception of the 9M motor is that it’s a completely invisible smoke trail, rather than a more concealed trail.
Info
The AIM-9 Sidewinder is a renowned family of short-range air-to-air missiles used by global air forces. Among its varations, the AIM-9M, introduced in the 1980s, stands out. This version was tailored to offer enhanced resistance to IR countermeasures, making it harder for enemy aircraft to evade or deceive. The AIM-9M also features a reduced-smoke rocket motor, minimizing the risk of the launching aircraft being spotted. Its deployment in various conflicts has cemented its reputation as a formidable air-to-air weapon.
copied from warthunder wiki because I can’t find any good consensus on this variant anywhere else
The AIM-9M’s descendent, the AIM-9L, is essentially identical to the 9M, other than that the AIM-9M features the flare-resistant seeker head with an IRCCM (infrared counter-counter measures), and its smokeless motor.

@Reberbri ngl I completely missed that, but as I said in the description, SR2 smoke isn’t the greatest and the missile’s smoke trail is barely noticeable in-game.

Did you try changing the "has smoke" flag to false in the hidden properties section of the motor to remove smoke? Jw
For future reference then, lol I was simply asking is all
