The Voiage probe is a space probe capable of getting to interstellar space. It can also be used as a flyby probe or it can flyby of planets to interstellar space and rarely used as an orbit probe. It has 5 cameras, a transmitter (antenna) a receiver (boom, also used for science), and has RTGs, large RCS thrusters, and the most efficient engine PZL has ever made. There are designs on the rocket that look like fake Soyuz interstages and on interstellar missions carry a message to other civilizations so the know that there are droods. It uses monopropellant fuel, which PZL found to be very efficient.

Controls:

Normal rocket controls.
AG1: antenna light.
AG2: boom light.
AG10: RCS.
Slider 1 up to extend boom.

Notes:

The probe engine has a timewarp while burning feature just like the Ion engine. I hacked into the tinker panel (hidden properties), went to the engine section, and scroll down to where it says supportsWarpBurn, set that to true. It doesn’t work well, the probe reverses itself. Use the timewarp while buring at your own risk.

Here are some pictures of me planning a flyby of Tydos:

As stated in the essay thing at the beginning, it can be used as an orbit probe but then you have to burn like? 1 or more hours? I would stick to the flyby and interstellar missions but yes, you can use it to orbit Tydos or something.

Don’t worry about the interstages in stage 9. Also stated in the essay thing in the beginning, they are just intentional designs on the probe and are fake which means they don’t work. That means when you turn it on, they won’t break the probe into pieces.

This probe is based off Voyager 1/Voyager2.

Anyways,

Enjoy and happy 2024!
