Descriptions

Dunerider is an experimental exploration, research, and rescue vehicle developed by A.D.E (Advanced Drood Engineering) in collaboration with AOA. Intended to operate in unforgiving drood environments such as the deep deserts and mountain ranges, this 90-ton, fully self-sufficient beast is fitted with an on-board command center, powerful searchlights, cabin pressurization system, a sleeping compartment, and a decent-sized cargo hold completed with a cargo elevator. The Dunerider is powered by 4 massively powerful electric motor which in combination delivers over 2100 kw at peak output. With a gear ratio of 7.6, the motors can drive the vehicle up inclines over 50°. To deal with the rough terrain, the suspension system is also highly specialized. This over-engineered hulk of mess is designed with multiple redundencies that ensures the reliabilities of the vehicle; Even with half of the shock absorbers failed, the system can still remain relatively performant. In case of power depletion, a kerolox powerplant and solar panel array can be activated to kick the rover back to action. Last but not least, a 3-ton water tank is straped to the side of the rover's hull to provide coolent for the rover and drinking water for the crew.

@Kosmos It stands for Alliance of Aviators, a fictional international organization consists of drood pilots and aeronautic engineers. The organisation specialises in aircraft design, engine manufacturing, flight testing, climate research, and material science. AOA secure research funding through government contracts and collaboration with other major companies. It is also known for developing many technologies that later impacted health and medicine, transportation, consumer goods, agriculture, and many other fields. In this case, the Dunerider uses AOA developed material, electric drivetrain, and kerolox powerplant.

    What company is AOA?

@Dghnfdhnb Unfrotunately it's not designed for explorations on other planets, as it lacks proper airlocks. You can drive it unmanned or modify it to your heart's content, of course.

Is it suitable for exploration around Olympus mons? I need it to act as a base of operations so I’m just asking if it has life-support systems
