Long Travel Recovery Vehicle 6x6 (LTRV)

-EXPERIMENTAL-
-INCOMPLETE PROJECT- -STARTING OVER SINCE NEW UPDATE- -MANY PARTS, PROBABLY NOT MOBILE FRIENDLY- Fun in first person.
Testbed for a 6x6, long travel, droonaut recovery vehicle.
Cruise Control
Auto-Braking 6x6 drive - Optional
6 Wheel Steering - Optional
Speedometer - KM/H
Interactive Displays
Seating for 6 Large Battery Capacity
Long Travel Suspension
Solar Panels High Speed
Dual Gyro-Stabilization Working Suspension Linkages Functional Roll-Cage Pulls a Little to the Left On Start - Vehicle will run through a diagnostics program. DO NOT MOVE vehicle until program is finished.

Cruise Control - CG 7 - 30m/s recommended for long distance reliability/survivabilty. Use ENTER key for gyro-steering, it may need assitance sometimes but it does well. 1st press sets cruise control and displays set speed 2nd press will activate the Cruise Control. Once it is set, it CANNOT be changed, I havent figured the coding out yet. Please feel free to contact me if you know how.

Command Groups 1 - Lights
3 - 6 Wheel Steering
4 - 6x6 Drive
7 - Cruise Control and AutoBraking Typicals Landing Gear acts as a self-righting mechanism in the event of a flip over. If it lands flat on the roof, you may be out of luck. There are other command groups, but I don't remember them. I didn't plan on uploading this.
Inspired by Trophy Trucks and Pre-Runners, I wanted something that could soak up bumps at high speeds in rough terrain. The LTRV has gone through many, many versions and still has a long way to go. This version of the truck is the 6x6, a 4x4 does exist as well. I wanted the stability of a 6x6 as well as a high payload capacity in the rear for batteries and later cargo. The 6x6 configuration has proven to be reliable in the event of a tire or suspension failure. Often times, able to continue traveling after losing 2 or even 3 wheels. The roll-cage has been built to protect and hold together in the case of roll over or impacts, although it has it limits. The design idea behind this project is rapid, land-based Droonaut recovery. Often times, the first thing to break is suspension linkages or a wheel, this is often minor and you can continue travel. I believe it is capable of circumnavigating the globe, but I have only tested to about 1,500 Kilometers. "Why does it look/perform so bad?" This is an unfinished testbed and proof of concept of a vehicle. I wanted to test different suspension configurations and how far I could go with linkages. In this project I was also learning about programming, roll-cage building, and suspension tuning for mass. This model has no intention of being a finished product. Initially created before the big name change update. This update changed/added some parts and their behaviors, which has effected some of the tuning and stability. I am uploading this mainly as inspiration to others as to what's possible for land based travel on Droo.

About 4 Hours after posting this, I have fixed the autopilot and the cruise control. I will be posting an updated version sometime in the future.
