Very simple, low part Airliner Tow Tractor for Airports as tested with LonelySpace's Airliner Builds
I built enough Airliners (with interior) so it felt like I needed to begin making Airport Ground Support Equipment for them. The first one wil be this Tow Tractor. Tow Tractors are specifically needed on Airports as they are the ones that pushback a big passenger/cargo airliner from the airport gate so the aircraft have enough forward space to turn around to the taxiway towards the runway. Airliners (mostly) can't move backwards by themselves.
As its intended to be used for my Airliners (which have 300 to over 500 parts) and still keep everything decently playable for mobile devices, I deliberately kept the parts count low - which meant you can save it on every airport hangar on Droo or any system that has airports in its terrestrial planet. This will officially be my first 4 wheel ground vehicle build.
INSTRUCTIONS:
DRIVING:
RIGHT JOYSTICK (Pitch/Roll) = Drive Forward/Reverse/Left/Right
LEFT JOYSTICK (Throttle) = Hard pull back for braking
*SLIDER 2 + UP/DOWN Towbar pivot = Move the tow bar to full up when you drive the tractor crazy to keep it intact and useable. Position it from 8-12% Down for aircraft towing ready position.
*AG1 "CLAMP!" = With the tow bar moved down at the airliners nose wheel level, move the tractor slowly to position the open end portion of the CLAMP/ CLAW towards the Nose WHEEL - THE CLAMP should be in the HUGGING/EMBRACING position on the nose wheel itself and NOT on the Nose Gear STRUT.
(The tow bar clamp DOES NOT HOLD on the STRUT, it only holds on the WHEEL ITSELF)
Then finally press AG1 CLAMP! to clamp lock the nose gear.
Keep speed within 10m/sec while Towing the Airliner (specially my widebodies/Jumbo Jet) the tow bar clamp will disconnect if speed exceed the 10m/sec limit.
