Tank Tread Concept

@NebulaSpaceExploration i discovered that if you just use tinker resized hinges instead of your track, it becomes much smoother, i just posted a prototype so you can check

@NebulaSpaceExploration thank you a lot, i've managed to add some sort of suspension/tensioning system to the tracks, makes top speed slower, but it is overal smoother, i'll post it as unlisted so you can have a look

OH BY GODNESS, THESE THREADS WORK! mind if i toy with the concept to see if i can improve it?

@NebulaSpaceExploration I notice you used the rotators on their side axis in conjunction with each other. I think they are freespinning yes? Well I tried out using the hinged pieces to some extent and they worked fine so long as the angle wasn't to sharp when it runs over the wheels curvature.

@Fazberon Well, it took me about a day to get the actual treads.
I was on a road trip, so this was posted the day after, if that answers your question.

@Gozinya I have a concept or two that I'll post. Maybe someone will make it a better model. It was done when I was first starting out.

Hey there, I have toyed with the treads and tank ideas before. Mostly had problems with getting g the slack out of them. UNTIL TONIGHT!. I put up a solution and used your tank as an example. Please check it out and i hope it helps you evolve the future of all tread productions! Cheers.
