Must use Realistic Engines Overhual Mod by MarioG. Lob high so you come down as close to vertical as possible. Around 170 km max. Overshoot the Drone ship by about 5-7 % to give you some retro fire space to slow down. Using this booster should leave you about 15-20 % Fuel to do a retro burn at about 70,000 meters, which should slow you down to about 600 m/s. Use the top stage, tilt to steer, no RCS needed. The last step is to cheat and land at 1/8 speed. (You don't have to.) The rest will come with practice. Good Luck.
