This here AUG-15 was the first ever plane I made that I actually considered pretty decent. I didnt post of for the last year because idk, but I decided to quickly polish it and upload it.

The Lore

The AUG-15 was an afterburning subsonic 2nd-Generation jet fighter in the Etranan Air Force. it was the first ever aircraft designed by the legendary Augur Aerospace, and was intended to replace the A-12 "Wyvern"

Vold Mountain Incident:

The AUG-15 would first see deployment in 1956 when a Krustanian Backed rebel group attacked an Etranan military instalation and stole 3 tanks. The Krustanian rebels fled to the cold mountians of Etrana where 8 AUG-15's were scrambled to pin them down. The Falcons flew through the mountains 'Top Gun' style and 90% of the unguided bombs landed on target.

Eventually all the strike aircraft pinned all 69 rebels inside a bowl of the mountans, where after dodging SAM's and gunfire, wiped out all the rebel forces. the aircraft helped escort paratroopers into the region to conduct post-strike operations. The mission was an overwhelming sucsess despite two aircraft being downed in the operation. only one Etrana death occured in the operation, while all 69 rebels were wiped out.

The operation sent a clear sign to Krustania and the entire world that Etrana a strong nation willing to do whatever to protect its ideals and people.

The War on Arizova:

The War on Arizova by Etrania-Backed allies was frankly an embarrasment and utter faliure of the military structure of the entire MEDTO coalition. A-15's flew to take out ground targets and defend allied positions, but the fighters were prey to next-generation Surface to Air Missile systems developed by Sloan Ballistics.

Etrana was the first to pull out of the invasion due to mounting press concerns, although AUG-15's were still supplied publicly and secretly to aid allies with the war, as it drew out into years and years. The war did eventually end in MEDTO's favor, but at an unprecidented cost.

The Krustanian Revolution of 1964:

After Etrana occupied it's neighboring country of Krustania in the early 50's turbulent uprisings happened across their shared continent. None were as deadly as the Krustanian Revolution of 1964 where hundreds of military vehicles were stolen on a campaign to defeat the militaries of the occupied Democratic Republic of Krustania. Etrana Prime Minister Kuiper and Emperor Panda both agreed to send in forces to Aid their occupied country.

A-15s after a mid life upgrade to avionics, engines, and electronic systems, served their usual role of ground strike during this operation, but did eventually score the vehicle's first Air-to-Air kill via missile during the conflict. Eventually all rebel forces were destroyed and Krustania and Etrana were safe.

The Etrana Revolution of 1972:

A political coup devised by new senator Jeb was launched with almost every single aircraft and military vehicle switched to Rebel hands. Royal forces were no match as the AUG-15 was already outdated by the time the war took place. Most were wiped out trying to provide CAS to allied forces trying to retake the capitol, but dozens and dozens of more kills were racked up

After the Etrana Revolution of 1972 the aircraft never saw service again, Jeb never retired the aircraft, he didnt really know what anything in the military was lmao.

Final Resting Place and Retirement

In 2002 Jeb's dictatorship finally ended as the lands of both Etrana and Krustana were reunited under the coup lead by General Squigglett and Hermes, who would end up being co-emperors, restoring the old monarchy and ridding of the dictatorship. The AUG-15 was shortly placed in museums and decomissioned following this new era of freedom.
