ABOUT THE SATELLITE
SkyLink-v1 is our next-generation telecom broadcasting satellite, designed to deliver seamless communication through advanced transponders and robust power systems. Compact yet powerful, SkyLink ensures reliable data transmission for both commercial and research applications. It will operate efficiently in orbit, enhancing global connectivity with precision and speed.
COMPOSITION
SkyLink's body is crafted from aluminum alloys for lightweight durability, with carbon-fiber reinforcements to provide additional strength and thermal stability. The satellite’s framing integrates multi-layer insulation (MLI) to regulate internal temperatures. Designed for long-term performance, the structure balances robustness with minimal weight, ensuring it meets the demands of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) operations.
INSTRUMENTS
1. TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking, and Control) : Monitors the satellite’s health and allows communication with ground stations to manage and control the satellite's functions.
2. Battery and Power Systems : Equipped with high-capacity batteries to store energy and ensure uninterrupted operation during eclipses or power fluctuations.
3. Low, Mid & High-gain Antennas : These antennas provide flexible signal coverage, supporting both wide-area broadcasting and focused communication channels.
4. Transponders and Radio MoDem : Handle signal reception and transmission, ensuring high-quality, continuous data flow for broadcasting and telecommunication needs.
Want to launch this?
If you have a launch service provider company, you are more than welcome to launch this satellite through your rocket. All you need to do is make an official booking for this satellite and launch it through your rocket at your own time and schedule.

@Tallisar throw it with a slingshot 💀. Jokes aside, make a strong rocket that can lift this. Most of the rockets can do it as it's not that heavy.

@Tallisar The entire thing is a satellite. We just showed that the thing is made with real instruments. They aren't singular units, instead they all make the whole SkyLink satellite. If you wish to launch this, it is needed to be launched collectively. Those are just parts of the satellite and not some cubesat(or anything else) on their own.

Is there a way for this to be launched rapidly? Can a rocket carry multiple things and release them all at once? It would be much less tedious to launch every single one of them (separately), but it gets a lot into space. My idea is that a rocket carries them, goes into the high-medium orbit of a selected planet, spins counter-clockwise, and releases all of the satellites. The orbits will not be perfect, but the rocket will surely get a lot into space, many times faster than just launching one rocket at a time.

@NewSight hey, can I copy your design?, I will stay u informed when I upload it, then I will say @Pedro delete my copy to make a single Mobile Friendly satellite, like?, btw I am a good builder

@SatelliteTorifune The craft is folded properly, just connect it to an interstage and launch (:

think of turning it into payload which could making deploying the satellite more easily

@TerraSpaceYT 😅 I understood this problem. From next satellite, we will be releasing a device friendly version that will be under 200 parts. Hopefully even lower. Untill then please keep supporting us !

absolutely love it newsight. amazing attention to detail. sadly all i can use to launch it is a plain tank with an engine because of its part count, but amazing work! :D

@Dooiereier we focus on making highly detailed satellites because of which the part count is very high. But don't worry we can launch a device friendly version with less number of parts in future sats.

nice work. I'd wouldnt mind a slightly lower part count for sats..
been viewing your posts since SIGHT, i do just love em all.
