If big is what you like and you want something that can dock, this SSTO is just for you. This massive aircraft weighs 3 times more than any commercial plane, yet it still has the capability to reach orbit. If you want something easy to fly, I would recomment you try this aircraft first before you fly its smaller VTOL counterpart.

@lordvader0219 That did work, albeit I have to admit you came a long way from this design to your latest ions!

@TopSecret2 When you take off, keep the angle of the plane at 20 degrees. Once you get to 10km, set it to 15 degrees. Once you reach 15km, put the nose at 10 degrees until you reach 630m/s. Once at what speed set the angle to 11 degrees until you get to 680m/s, then set it to 13 degrees.

Watch the time left of fuel on the performance until there is less than 1 minute of fuel left. Once you have most of the jet fuel drained, point the nose at 30 degrees. Activate the rocket engine until you get to 1500m/s. Then point the rocket to 25 degrees. Once your apoapsis gets to 73km turn off the rocket. When you are 10 seconds away from the apoapsis, fire the rocket until you have reached orbit.

How the heck are you supposed to get into orbit flying just above Mach 2 at 17.5km? Putting this thing into a subballistic trajectory before activating the rockets?
