Long March 8 carrier rocket

Long March 8 (code name: CZ-8) is a new generation of medium and low orbit two-stage liquid-bound launch vehicle developed by China [2]. The first stage of Long March-8 rocket uses liquid oxygen/kerosene as propellant and two YF-100 engines with 8-ton thrust. The second stage uses liquid hydrogen/liquid oxygen as propellant, adopts two YF-75 engines with 8-ton thrust, and has the ability of secondary start-up; Bundle two 2.25m diameter liquid boosters, using liquid oxygen/kerosene as propellant, each with a YF-100 engine of 120t thrust. The rocket has a total length of 50.3 meters, a core diameter of 3.35 meters, a secondary diameter of 3 meters, a single booster diameter of 2.25 meters, and a take-off mass of about 356 tons. It is mainly used to launch payloads in low earth orbit or sun-synchronous orbit, and can send 5 tons of payloads into 700 km sun-synchronous orbit [2]
