The at first super secretive AK-29 by the company "Akanis Kilas" was first announced in 1961, it went by the name of Project " Ovena ", with the idea from head engineer " Jiuas Mysoproch " the company gained funding from the Azerkistanian Government and other countries like Roslavia.
The project was finished during late 1961 with its creation being secretive until being publicly announced on June 20th 1962, entering serviced mid 1962 about 289 units were bought along side the major training of hundreds of pilots in 1959.
The aircraft is one of the most known aircraft among aircraft enthusiast and former military, with it still being in service today in multiple countries it is hard to find ones in museums without it being a recreation of its design.
