MR-1 Meteo

The MR-1 Meteo sounding rocket was a Soviet designed sounding rocket used in the late 40’s to early 50’s, comparable to the United States Aerobee in its role. it comprised of 2 stages: Stage 1 was a collection of R-103 anti-tank rockets left over from WWII and Stage 2 used the U-1250 rocket engine with comparable thrust to the WAC Corporals engine but with better ISP & efficiency. The rocket itself could carry upwards of 71 Kg to a suborbital trajectory, it had an overall length of 9 meters and a diameter of 0.43 meters. Not much is known about the launch & development history of the sounding rocket itself much like many other Soviet sounding rockets. -KerbalX

AG-10 makes the sustainer stage hotstage.

You have to manually turn the U-1250 off when you have reached your desired Apogee.
