    Lift Procedure

    1. Approach target to the point that your hook is further from you than what you’re trying to lift, specifically the part you plan to hook.
    2. Lower hook to allow it to slip where it needs to go.
    3. Reverse until your hook catches.
    4. Winch your hook up. I recommend taking it slowly if the load is cumbersome and/or heavy.

    To release your load, lower your hook until your payload is resting on the ground, then a little more for ease of extrication. Go forward to remove completely, winch your hook up, then reverse away.
    For best results, try adding eyes to your payloads for easy slinging.
