Give your droods a nice base to use while exploring the universe!
This is a base I made with my Hex Parts. It has a finished interior with some cool custom MFD controls and room for lots of droods.
(I’ve really been enjoying using gifs lately)
Features
- Exterior & Interior Lighting
- LOTS of windows
- Room for 12 astronauts
- Functioning doors with MFD control buttons
- Custom MFDs
- Everything can be easily be controlled by AGs or an MFD
Notes/Tips
- Don’t turn on all the lights at once or your game will probably crash.
- Sometimes you have to hit the door button twice to get it to work, there’s a bug I forgot to fix.
- You should probably put it on flat ground
Enjoy!
If you want to build your own base, check out my Hex Base Parts.

Thx! I might add an airlock later if I get around to making another version. I think I might have to make another type of door first, one that fits better for opening inside. I also might make some more connector pieces. @FalconAerospaceFAS

Hmm right not I’m not sure how you could connect them outside of the editor... possibly you could add tiny docking ports to the connection points of tunnels and stuff. That could probably work for assembling a space station if you added RCS, but assembling anything on the ground seems hard. I might try that and see what happens. Or if you try it let me know how it goes.
Thanks for asking, I didn’t think of that but now I want to try it, I think you inspired my next project!

Perfect! But how could I couple parts outside of editing? For example, send separate pieces to the Moon and put them together to join the base.

True that would be fun. I forgot who but someone made a giant maze out of these. @JamesValino
