This realistic falcon 9 landing leg is designed with the looks and functions of the real thing. It will fold out properly and can absorb a pretty good impact (5 m/s at least). There are a few steps to install it:
1. Save as subassembly
2. Attach square bar to rocket fuselage
3. Clip into rocket so the leg sits mostly flush
4. Put staging in 2 parts. 1 stage for the latch, and a second stage for the pistons. IMPORTANT: Stage the latch and wait a second to use. When the bounce of the leg gets to its lowest point, you can stage again to drop the leg fully.
This leg was a real blast to make, and I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed building it!
