Another Novo V1 with 6 solid rocket boosters
Carry the extreme to orbit
It has extremely high TWR ~7:1. So, I tinkered it and decreased to 4. If this rocket couldn't lift your payload, then simply bring the mass of the booster back to 100% in tinker panel. I've also made some minor improvements.
About Staging
- In Stage 1, the six solid rocket boosters ignite and it generates thrust more than the core stage.
- In Stage 2, the solid rocket boosters get jettisoned and the four engines of the core stage ignites.
- In Stage 3, the core stage is jettisoned and a single RP-1 powered engine ignites.
- In Stage 4, same as 3 lol! and the fairings are also jettisoned
NOTE
- On start, before starting solid boosters, try to keep throttle above 80%
- I suggest not to make a gravity turn (tilt rocket) as it may cause instability
