Lore

The AUG-108 was a potential prospect for the Etranian Air Foce for multiple years before its eventual construction in the mid 70's. It was originally invisioned to be an extremely fast interceptor to take down potential Espian bombers should they act agressively tward Etrania.

When the project was finally fleshed out, it was too expensive for just Etrania to take on. Mach 3 tech was so incredibly expensive, Etrania decided to work with it's closest ally, Obsido. Augur Aerospace was chosen for the project, and the funding was split 50/50. The countries tried to sell it as a 33/33/33 deal to Oshurg, another friendly country, but they backed out of the deal last second.

The AUG-108 was named the "Blizzard" which caused some drama internally in Obsido. For some reason their mentally braindead leader, Sands, had a requirement that every vehicle they had in their arsonal be named after a fish, or a crustacian. Safe to say when Prime Minister Kuiper kept the Blizzard name, Sands was insulted.

The Blizzard never scored any kills in its lifetime under Etrania (it may have in Obsido but idk sands hasnt told me the history). It was however utilized by Revolutionary Etranian forces during the military coup led by Jeb. Again it never scored any kills, but it was flying. it is unclear if Jeb even knew what the plane was or how to utelize it's strengths and weaknesses.

overall the AUG-108 Blizzard was a historic aircraft from its uses in Etrania and Obsido. World renowned speed and weapons capacity, and its push on the edge of Fictional and Possible. Until next time!
