“Fidget” & “Turbo” Spinner Air Racers!

These are more introductory crewed aircraft for “Learning to Fly” contracts 1 through 4 (the 5th cataract I was unable to complete even using the faster turbo spinner) and Turbo Spinner can even be used for the “Village Air Race” contracts 1 and 2, though she will be down to about 20% battery so immediately reduce thrust and you should have plenty for a few landing attempts.

They require the techs “Mechanical Engineering”, Fasten Your Seat Belts” and “Fidget Spinners” for the struts, chair and skyline props.

The props get easily damaged if landing is not perfect! However I still managed to complete the contracts despite breaking them off most of the time. Or you could just extend the wheels a bit, but I didn’t bother!

For a nice smooth landing just reduce thrust to around 20-30% and you should be able to set her down even if you destroy the propellers!

Oh there’s a lot of places this craft could improve if it weren't for limitations career games have! Would be nice with retractable landing gear, either more batteries or a fuel cell to recharge them for a longer range!
    ……
Just have to sacrifice some amenities for what’s available and particle but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a number of variations/improvements to this craft.

Well they were designed to be sort of like ultra lights. You have a limit on props and engine size in career games so didn’t wanna use anything to heavy.
    ……
They might a look a tad better with a simple roll cage but I got lazy!

    Those look nice!
I'm almost tempted to make a cockpit for them 😅
