its a drop pod that can be dropped from an exoatmospheric position,
open drogue chutes when u hit the atmosphere and increase throttle to 80% until you're speed is reduced enough for the main chutes to be deployed, (about 200m/s)
second stage opens chutes and discards the fairing covering them do this at ~10000m to further slow you down.
at this point, feather the throttle to further control descent, the goal is to reduce speeds to under 100m/s before you get close to the ground (200m asl)
then the main chutes SHOULD inflate and NOT kill you.
Just so everyone knows, this thing is a challenge to land without the drogue chutes and rockets, in fact, without the reverse thrust, you'll never make it because the parachutes will slingshot you into a random direction because you're going too fast.
