1:1 scale replica of the Apollo Launch Escape System test vehicle.
The Little Joe II was a two stage rocket powered by solid fuel engines and it was used to test and develop the Apollo Escape Launch System. There were three versions of Little Joe II, one per mission, A-002 (with some shiny colors), A-003 (this one) and A-004 (A little bit taller).
AG1: Activates Escape Launch System
Stage1: Activates the solid powered engines
Stage2: Decouples the aircraft from the launch tower (do it quicly)
Stage3: Decouples the Apollo spacecraft mass simulator from the booster
Stage4: Decouples the boilerplate and activates the Escape System
Stage5: Drop four chutes without decouple the escape tower
Thanks for all your upvotes on my Starship Superheavy.
