On this post, I will present to you something rather unique. A fighter jet! Not just a normal jet, this particular aircraft can be identified as a Belkan Witchcraft if you want to!

Anyways, I made this post to satisfy my 𝔡𝔢𝔰𝔦𝔯𝔢𝔰 𝔱𝔬 𝔪𝔞𝔨𝔢 𝔞 𝔅𝔢𝔩𝔨𝔞𝔫 𝔚𝔦𝔱𝔠𝔥𝔠𝔯𝔞𝔣𝔱-𝔰𝔱𝔶𝔩𝔢 𝔞𝔦𝔯𝔠𝔯𝔞𝔣t. Without further ado, please welcome, the 5th gen, supermaneuverable aircraft Apollyon!

Please note that this is a fictional craft that doesn't exist in real life in any form, such as a realistic blueprint, prototype, and model. All design choices were either inspired by real-life existing designs or fictional designs. Anyways let's dive into the description below!

Description and Background

VX-77, Codename "Apollyon", is an aircraft from the Second Empire of Ostara developed under huge secrecy from a direct order from the King and immediately unleashed during a war with a nation on the other side of the globe. This aircraft was developed inside a program named VX-X. The Apollyon was a pinnacle of the technological advancement of the Royal Air Force until now.

VX-77 is also a direct descendant from both Product 1 for Its overall design, and Product 2 technology demonstrator for Its powerful thrust vectoring capable engine. The first unit of this aircraft was ultimately handed to the best airman from the best squadron of the Empire, the Scarlett 1 from the Scarlett Squadron . At the end of the war, every member served under the 13th Advanced Fighter Wing, Including the Scarlett Squadron and the Dominion Squadron, received it.

VX-77 has featured a lot of technological advancement from the researchers. This fighter is a single-seater jet fighter that has a sleek pair of all-moving V-Tail hybrid and a pair of canards located just at the front of the inlet. The canards and the slats at the front will follow the AoA of the aircraft to maximize lift. The overall design makes the aircraft exceptionally stable while not using TVC.

Speaking about TVC, It also features a pair of twin, really powerful thrust-vectoring engine that makes this plane capable to pull 30 Gs on daily basis. The pilot can disable this TVC at will to stabilize the aircraft during high speed.

This engine also provides a supercruise at over Mach 2 and TWR of 1.26. At full power, it can push the aircraft to Mach 4 with TWR of 2.52 At Hyperspeed mode. To accomodate such high speed, the aircraft is fitted with Automatic Vertical Fold System to reduce drag. You can utilize this System and the characteristic of the Engines itself to get out of stall/recovering energy after performing maneuvers like this:

Other than that, a Head-Mounted Flight Data Display is present to provide situational awareness. The Flight Data Display is capable to display G Force data, Mach Number, Weapons Status, Emergency Situations, Angle Of Attack, Angular, and Velocity Acceleration.

Weapon capacity of this aircraft is no joke. There's an Internal weapons bay just below the Fuselage that can house up to 8 large, long-range air to air missile. Unfortunately, due to number of parts being a bit over my limit, I cannot make a functional one. Other than the Internal Weapons Bay, the wings is strong enough for it to be attached a pylon and launch an external weapons. On this version however, there are no pylons to minimize parts. But I've Made a version with weapons, just below the Activation Group section. I've attached 4 High Speed Cruise Missile that can be launched with AG 9.

Aside from the missiles, a special modification was placed for testing and demolishing the morals of the adversaries. A weapon that will remind you of Ustio, the Morgan, and Pixy. Of course it is a Tactical Laser System. This special pod can fire a very high intensity and long range blue colored laser beam that can be activated with AG 2 and capable to be jettisoned with AG 11. This laser will cut through any metal and slice the sky wide open.

KNOWN ISSUES:

1. Taking off requires TVC

3. The aircraft tends to sway a bit off course when pulling 30 Gs or above at high speeds

4. The aircraft is too heavy, but it works!
