Bismarck is a famous German warship in the Second World War, named with Otto von Bismarck.

After 18 months of outfitting, Bismarck formally joined the Navy on August 24, 1940. On September 15, 1940, the ship went to Kiel bay for test work, and soon returned to B & V shipyard for final equipment adjustment. March 6, 1941 to the Baltic Sea training, and began to form combat effectiveness. After that, Bismarck stayed in the Baltic until she participated in "Rhine exercise" in May 1941. On May 24, 1941, she met with the prince of Wales battleship and the hood Battlecruiser of the British intercepting fleet. After the fierce battle, Bismarck sank the hood Battlecruiser, the flagship of the British Royal Navy, but also was wounded by the prince of Wales. On May 27, 1941, the British Army The fleet surrounded the battered Bismarck, which sank 400 nautical miles west of Brest at 10:36 on the 27th.

The four twin main turrets of Bismarck are respectively arranged on the front deck and the rear deck. They are named Anton, Bruno, Caesar and Dora from the front to the back. The numbers of the four main turrets are respectively numbered with the first letters a, B, C and D. The eight main guns are sk-c / 34 52 times caliber (47 times as calculated by American and British Standards) 380 / 381 mm guns, which were designed by Krupp in 1934 and developed and finalized in 1939. Each main turret weighs about 1100 tons, and a single gun weighs 110700 kg in total, with a total length of 19.63 meters. Bismarck's barrel manufacturing adopts the same three section casing structure technology as the "admiral Hippel" heavy cruiser to ensure the manufacturing accuracy of the gun, but the cost is too high, and the manufacturing process is complex, which is not convenient for the mass production of the barrel. The gun barrel is 17.86m long, chamber volume is 31.9l, propellant is 212kg, maximum chamber pressure is 3200kg / cm2, barrel life is about 180-210 rounds.

On the morning of May 27, 1941, the main pursuit fleet of the British army arrived, including the battleship George V and the battleship Rodney, which entered the range around 8:00 in the morning. The two ships approached rapidly. The British warship used its 16 inch and 14 inch main guns to attack the Bismarck. The Bismarck's course was uncertain due to the failure of the steering gear, and its counterattack effect was poor. With no hope of retreat and the loss of most of the artillery equipment, including eight main guns, the German army almost gave up resistance. "The ship is out of control and will fight to the last shell," the despairing lutjans said in a telegram to Hitler Hitler replied: "all the men of the battleship Bismarck, all Germany with you. Take out your resolute courage and do your best. "

At last, the ship chose to sink at the end of the battle. At 10:39, Bismarck finally sank 400 nautical miles west of Brest. Front
After that, the Royal Navy invested a large number of warships, including up to eight battleships and battlecruisers, two aircraft carriers, that is, about half of the Royal Navy's forces in besieging Bismarck. In the last war, Rodney of the main fleet destroyed all the main turrets of Bismarck. He and the prince arrived nearly several kilometers to shoot, making Bismarck completely unable to resist. Finally, the battleship Bismarck sank into the Atlantic Ocean. All 2200 officers and soldiers of the German Navy, including admiral lutyance, were drowned when the ship sank. The British ships Dorset and Maori rescued 111 survivors. After finding German submarines nearby, Dorset and Maori immediately stopped rescue and evacuation from the scene. Finally, five more German sailors struggling in the sea were rescued by the German meteorological ship saxonwald and a submarine.

In May 1989, the expedition hired the British "Hercules star" search ship, and used their own underwater photo detector to search the Bismarck on the porcupine submarine plain 800 kilometers west of France and about 400 kilometers south of Ireland. More than 10 days after the operation, debris from the Bismarck, including a main turret, began to be found on June 6, 1989. Four days later, on June 10, the wreckage of the Bismarck battleship was finally found lying on the ocean floor at a depth of 4763.185 meters. Unlike Titanic, Bismarck is quite intact, almost with no time difference from sinking.

The HMS hood is not annoyed at this post, why? Because it got hit in the ammo rack, but don’t worry. The Bismarck is a great target for those new 22,000LBS bombs. Unfortunately, a swordfish hit its rudder and the damn thing sunk. Oh well we still have the Tirpitz to blow up don’t we?

From the mist, a shape, a ship, is taking form
And the silence of the sea is about to drift into a storm
Sign of power, show of force
Raise the anchor, battleship's plotting its course
Pride of a nation, a beast made of steel
Bismarck in motion, king of the ocean
He was made to rule the waves across the seven seas
    To lead the war machine
To rule the waves and lead the Kriegsmarine
    The terror of the seas
    The Bismarck and the Kriegsmarine
Two thousand men, and fifty thousand tons of steel
Set the course for the Atlantic with the Allies on their heel
    Firepower, firefight
Battle Stations, keep the targets steady in sight
Into formation, the hunt has begun
Death and damnation, the fleet is coming
He was made to rule the waves across the seven seas
    To lead the war machine
To rule the waves and lead the Kriegsmarine
    The terror of the seas
    The Bismarck and the Kriegsmarine
At the bottom of the ocean, the depths of the abyss
They are bound by iron and blood
The flagship of the navy, the terror of the seas
His guns have gone silent at last
Pride of a nation, a beast made of steel
Bismarck in motion, king of the ocean
He was made to rule the waves across the seven seas
    To lead the war machine
To rule the waves and lead the Kriegsmarine
    The terror of the seas
    The Bismarck and the Kriegsmarine
    To lead the war machine
To rule the waves and lead the Kriegsmarine
    The terror of the seas
    Bismarck and the Kriegsmarine
    To lead the war machine
To rule the waves and lead the Kriegsmarine
    The terror of the seas
    Bismarck and the Kriegsmarine

    @InfinityTechnology mas qual motor , o elétrico?

    4.3 years ago
  • Profile image

@Robert2020 You need batteries, motors, and then you use tanks and wings to make propellers that drive ships. Propellers work very well in water. If you've adjusted them properly, (this passage comes from a translator )

@Robert2020 Você Precisa de baterias, motores, e então você USA tanques e ASAS para fazer hélices que conduzem navios. Propellers trabalhar Muito BEM Na água. Se você OS ajustou corretamente, esta Passagem VEM de um intérprete
