Finally got the ICPS working for the second stage! Turns out I was just being dense, and had the upper tanks set to kerolox, while the engine burnt hydrolox. Anyway, the rocket now just BARELY has the Delta-V to push the Orion capsule out to Luna, at which point the Orion capsule has PLENTY of Delta V to circularise, although I don't know about returning to the planet if you do. It still isn't automated, I'm still working on how to stage the boosters, but it's on it's way to being done. If I remember right the ICPS is the only major change on this, it now looks like it's actually meant to. It also acts it, as far as I can tell, I think the real SLS is only meant to be just barely capable of trans-Lunar injection as well, so the Orion CSM will have to decelerate itself into a highly elliptical orbit around the moon. Anyway, both previous and new updates include:
expendable SRBs (like the real one)
proper fairing deployment and LES disconnection
genuine LES function as shown in animations
new ICPS
new Orion service module
and that's about it. Now barely capable of pushing Orion to the moon.
All groups are the same as before
1: Activate LES
2: Ditch LES
3: Drogues
4: Main Parachutes
9: Solar Panels
0: RCS
Enjoy the rocket!
