On this day, the second launch of the Aleph 1 heavy launch vehicle reached Luna and delivered its payload, LunaSat-1. The satellite, orbiting approximately 100 kilometers above the lunar surface, is equipped with a large antenna, as well as a beacon. This mission is EpsilonInc’s first time orbiting any body other than Juno or Droo, and is expected to pave the way for future missions.
