very straight forward.
Found some wing lift formulas & thought it would be interesting to try it out in SR2.
calculating how much lift the wings are creating.(only the main wings)
It's accurate to some degree. To the 1,000.00th to be exact (for the lift force). Not so good but still works as intended.
if you wanna use the Calculations for your aircraft you'll have to input the wing area manually in the vizzy program.
Key:
- p = air density
- V = air velocity
- a = angle of attack
- A = wing area
- LC = lift coefficient
- LF = lift force
- W = weight of the craft
- LWR = lift to weight ratio (LWR above 1 = aircraft is flying ie. The wings are generating enough lift to fly) (LWR below 1 = wings are not generating enough lift for the aircraft to maintain flight)
I was too lazy to add landing Gear. Just spawn mid-air.
I added a rocket engine (but no fuel) MLI in the dev console should fix that.
So underrated 😭😭😭
