Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11 were both NASA spacecraft launched to explore the outer regions of our solar system. Here are descriptions of each:

  1. Pioneer 10:

    • Launch Date: March 2, 1972
    • Mission Objectives: Pioneer 10 was the first spacecraft to travel through the asteroid belt and make direct observations of Jupiter, sending back valuable data about the planet's radiation belts and magnetic field. After its encounter with Jupiter in December 1973, it continued its journey out of the solar system.
    • Notable Achievements: Pioneer 10 became the first human-made object to leave the solar system and enter interstellar space in 1983. It carried a gold-anodized aluminum plaque with a message from humanity in case it was ever encountered by extraterrestrial beings.
    • End of Mission: The last successful communication with Pioneer 10 occurred on January 23, 2003, and it is currently drifting in space, no longer in contact with Earth.
  2. Pioneer 11:

    • Launch Date: April 6, 1973
    • Mission Objectives: Like Pioneer 10, Pioneer 11 was designed to study Jupiter, which it did successfully in December 1974. It also conducted a flyby of Saturn in 1979, becoming the first spacecraft to visit this ringed planet and providing valuable data about Saturn's rings and moons.
    • Notable Achievements: Pioneer 11's observations of Saturn and its moon Titan were groundbreaking. It discovered the presence of a thin atmosphere on Titan and gathered crucial data on the planet's magnetosphere and rings.
    • End of Mission: Pioneer 11 continued its journey out of the solar system after its Saturn encounter. The last communication with the spacecraft took place in 1995, and it is now also drifting in interstellar space.

Both Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11 were pioneering missions in the exploration of the outer solar system and have contributed significantly to our understanding of these distant regions.

@JanusSpaceIndustries Voyager is basically the the final boss of Orbiter spacecraft but i plan on trying to do a replica when I've got more experience with hinges and pistons.

@JanusSpaceIndustries right now i'm working on making spacecraft recreations like
    -New horizons
    -Pioneer 10/11
    -Osiris REx
    -Psychy
    -Juno
    -Mars express

When I've made all those I'll start on the launch vehicles but it's gonna take a while.
