This is the mini nuke satelite, it carries a nuclear missle and will wreak havoc on an alien spaceship. It can shoot targets in space as well as on droo. They have railguns, we have nukes.
Note: i do not approve of nukes in real life, this is for defense of the planet. Not a petty country.

@ILoveSpaceALot kinda, on it's own, it serves as a short range nuke and works like an ICBM with incredibly short range.
However, if you stick it onto a rocket, you can put it into orbit and works like an orbital missile silo, that is not vulnerable. It may take longer to deliver the strike, but it will be more likely to hit it's target, as well as having the ability to destroy satellites or whatever pyromaniac is operating the missle wants to destroy
