when flying there is a small plus sign at the bottom right. You press it and then a list comes up. In the list go to slider1 and slide it up or down (translation from comment below)

@gunner_aerospace beim Fliegen ist unten rechts ein kleines plus zeichen. Da drückst du drauf und dann kommt eine list. In der liste gehe auf slider1 und schiebe ihn hoch oder runter

Gut gemacht. Aber den Hitzeschild unten musst du noch zu einem machen, bei mir explodieren die entsprechenden Tanks immer beim Eintritt
