Orca is a small-lift launch vehicle, designed by now-defunct Arctic Aerospace. The aforementioned company was recently acquired by Orion Technologies. Their Orca launch vehicle was intended to launch from the Kodiak-Pacific Spaceport in Alaska, US. The launch vehicle is a two stage, RP-1/LOX-fueled rocket, capable of delivering up to 4200lbs into LEO, and up to 3000 into SSO. Both stages are manufactured with carbon-fiber composites and additive manufacturing techniques, and both are 6ft in diameter. The first stage has 9 Titanium staged combustion Kerolox rocket engines, meanwhile the second stage has one, vacuum-optimized version of Titanium. The PLF(Payload Fairing) is 6ft in diameter as well, however, it is an additively manufactured aluminum alloy rather than carbon fiber composite material. Arctic Aerospace had been prepping for the inaugural launch of Orca when they filed for bankruptcy and were acquired by Orion Technologies. The acquisition means much to Orion, who now has access to their assets, technology, patents, and launch pad. Orion Technologies will utilize designs from Orca and combine them with that on Eagle 1, to create Orion Technologies’ Eagle 1 V2. Eagle 1 V2 will launch on its inaugural flight from Orion Technologies Spaceport Pad 2 NET May 10, and will carry @NewSight’s Skylink v1 into LEO. Orion Technologies’ CEO also has said for fans to expect Eagle 1 V2 launches from Alaska soon. Enjoy!

@VonKaramanIndustries, oh, yes. When launching from Kodiak-Pacific Spaceport, it can do about 1000lbs to a Tunra and 1100lbs to a Molniya Orbit.
-
@OrionTechnologies a tundra orbit is a highly eccentric and higly inclined 24h orbit, designed to serve high latitudes in the same way a geostationary orbit serves equator.

@VonKaramanIndustries, Orion Technologies Spaceport is a fictional collection of launch pads, landing pads, and launch facilities situated on the East Coast of Texas, just 20 miles north from Starbase.(I just use the default DSC for it, nothing fancy). What is a Tundra Orbit?

Q: Where is the spaceport that Orion Aerospace operates from? Also, how well does the craft perform at delivering payload to Tundra orbits?
