The DS-E8 is an experimantal hypersonic glide missile.
It has 2 variants E8a and E8b. E8a uses the plane control mode and E8b uses the rocket control mode.
The missile uses a methalox electric pump-fed engine, wings and canards for control and has a sea-level Delta-V of 3.75km/s.
Since it is designed to be air launched from an aircraft it may be able to reach orbit, or at least exit the atmosphere, if flown correctly.
