@RichGWall @Rdrandle That's an interesting idea in principle! However, the moon station should then have an extremely elliptical orbit around the moon (passing through the Lagrange point). Otherwise the required delta-v are very large (after all, you have to decelerate the ship coming from the Moon at the Earth, which costs about 3km/s . In the Drool system, however, this should be easier. I'll have a look at this. However, I am designing a very complex Mars mission with KSP1 and the RP-1 mod. That's why I've been here so rarely for months :-)

I use, "Radial overlapping, internal hidden Fuel Tanks" to Increase Fuel, exponentially,... an effective cheat! That's how I get my Spacecraft to have enough DELTA-V for wherever I want to go... without having to make thing bigger. But you must watch center of mass when you do this.

@Rdrandle Unfortunately, the ship cannot be launched directly from Earth. You need a suitable carrier rocket. The Aldebaran cannot return to Earth either; it has to dock with a space station in Luna orbit.
